We are pleased to announce the International Conference on Technology Development for Disaster Management, a collaborative effort between the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) and Massey University, New Zealand.

The conference is dedicated to advancing disaster management through the integration of innovative technologies. It aims to foster international cooperation, drive innovation, and promote knowledge sharing to strengthen community resilience and support sustainable national development.

Participants are invited to showcase their research on the design, development, implementation, and management of innovative technologies supporting disaster management.We accept both work in progress and completed research.

All deadlines are at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (UTC-8). Late submissions will not be considered. Please ensure you submit your paper well before the deadline to avoid any technical issues.
Paper Submission
Paper Format
Papers should be prepared in IEEE two-column format and must not exceed 8 pages, including references and figures. Templates are available on the IEEE website.
Submission Process
Create an account on the conference submission portal
Prepare your paper according to the formatting guidelines
Submit your paper in PDF format
Complete all required metadata fields
Confirm your submission and receive a confirmation email
Acceptance Notification
Authors will be notified of the review outcome by November 15th, 2025. Accepted papers will require minor or major revisions based on reviewer feedback. The final camera-ready version must be submitted by December 1st, 2025.
Requirements
At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper either in person or virtually. The conference will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing participation both on-site and online.
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.
